I can see potential and I understand it's a demo. Some areas of improvement include,

HUD: the graphics for loading screens seem like place holders

Customizations: Specifically I mean the controls, the controls are clunky and I'm unable to change the inverted camera to normal

Fighting: This is where the game shows most of its flaws, there is never really a reason to use a light attack if the heavy attack is roughly the same amount of frames. Rolls are to slow to be used so just walking out of the way seems to be a better option. The animation for the attacks are also the same and don't have one two three combos so it just repeats the same animation.

Healing: There are areas to heal everywhere and I'm assuming it is meant to be a souls like so it takes out some of the challenge.

Overall the game has potential it just needs to be refined a bit more. I'd also suggest a more unique art direction though I think the current one is good as well maybe just adjust the lighting. Once the full game is out I'll definietly give it a try though.

Hey there. I wanted to say thank you for taking the time to give feedback. This is a student project I contributed to a couple years ago. I hope I can one day return to this project to do some clean up work, as I've come along way in my skills since then. Your feedback is spot on and I hope you enjoyed the experience in spite of all the rough edges.
